5 min doodle.

I'm not a big fan of Naruto -_-; because I really hate its plot. Almost everyone around me likes Naruto though. One of my friends writes a BL fan novel with Naruto and she requests me to draw some illustrations for it. The main character is Kakashi so I've been praticing to draw him.

Right now I'm trying to find the feeling of calligraphic lines and rough brushe touches, which I think it would fit the mood of her novel. And this is one of the results. It's quickly done, but I think I finally find the feeling that I wanted to express. =D

And yet again I am amazed. A really beautiful drawing, and within 5 minutes??? A doodle?? I'd love to see something you've worked for hours on 8'D

And for not liking Naruto (I don't care for it much anymore, either) you really got Kakashi's seriousness across.

i think you really captured a neat style - almost like the old asian calligraphy! :) i love it!

even though it's all messy [which gives it a really charming feel to it, even though it still feels kind of rough because of the lines] it's easy to see what's what, which can often be a problem with sketches. and the blood looks gorgeous too.

5 minutes? woah. @u@

Well... many of my CG color works have been done in more than 2 hours. ;) Yes, I don't really work for a long time.
For traditional works, I usually work for a long time though. Maybe like more than 3 days for just a sketch. (especially this one -> [link])

Yes, Naruto becomes a bit funny lately. =_=; I mean the plot is really tedious. It reminds me those Dragonball, Rurouni Kenshin(I don't know the spell; ^^;), Bleach, and all the weird samurai or ninja comics. I've read all those books and I like them, but still, the plot is funny.

Sometimes, quick and rough sketches have more sincere and strong sense of feelings. ;) That sincerity is what I want to achieve in my art. Even if it's all messy, you can see and feel it. I think that's wonderful about 'roughs'.
